How to read a service rate and your order charge

A service's displayed rate and the amount for your order are related, but they are not the same number. Check both before submitting.

Start with the unit shown in the catalog

Many listings show a USD rate per 1,000 units. The order form then calculates the charge for the quantity you choose. For example, if a listing is $6.72 per 1,000 and the chosen quantity is 5, a straight proportional calculation is $6.72 × 5 ÷ 1,000 = $0.0336. This is an illustration, not a quote for a current service; the live order form is the source for your actual total.

Check the minimum and maximum quantity

Each service has its own allowed range. A low quantity may produce a charge smaller than one cent, so rounding the display to two decimals can hide useful detail. The order charge and account balance are shown to six decimal places where applicable. Review the calculated charge on the form before you submit rather than estimating from a shortened catalog rate.

Understand currency display

Balances and order charges settle in USD. If you select another display currency, the converted number is an estimate for comparison; it does not change the USD amount charged to the account. Exchange rates can change, so use the USD figure when checking an order or reconciling your balance.

Compare the full terms

Two services with similar prices can differ in target type, quantity limits, start estimates, refill eligibility, or cancellation rules. Read the full service description and check that the target you intend to use fits the listing. The cheapest rate is not automatically the best fit for a particular order.
